MD is never meant to be a solo ship. consider this: 3 MDs, do you think they would have enough ECM between them to go into negative sig? quite likely. 1 MD is totally ineffective anyways, unless its running support for a larger group of interception ships. this is how its always been. making it so multiple MDs are needed for them to reach their full effect is a stroke of genius in my opinion.
lesson of the day: dont bring an MD to a knife fight.
