your cousin could be throttled or totally not, and it may even be a other issue, but what do i know.
I have never used Comcast.
And just objectively analyzing,
do you know how much annoyance high amounts of p2p connections are against normal network traffic ?
I can bet what a lot of ISP's could do if they where allowed to allocate all p2p data to QOS-7,
It wouldn't even require a eye blink for me to think about applying that to all our datacenters.

Still can't do it Eledore. It would fall under unfair business practices, seeing as how most p2p networks have a legitimate business facade as well.
Also, I'm willing to bet that the article darkspen posted uses the word 'throttle' a lot, given what appears to be his major lack of knowledge regarding the issue.
