Please post all bug reports regarding graphics in DarkSpace in this thread. This includes mis-drawn items, or unusual artifacts in the various graphical effects.

Ships missing engine trails
Jump effect has some kind of yellow glow.
Triangle still visible in explosion effect.
Starfield blur needs some toneing down.
The flash effect from the QST/ION needs to be removed or made less seizure inducing - having one EAD fire at me made my screen flash more or less every 5 seconds pure white. I cringe to think what more then one would be like.

same, i had to tell draf and os to stop firing SI's at me cause i was about to go into a blackout seizure.....that so needs fixing

ICC/UGTO HCL seem to be too dim.
The K'Luth Shock Missile needs a better explosion. Possibly a red version of the PCM explosion?

and since the battle/combat dreads have QSTion on them, they will need to be less flashy, cause when i was using a battle dread, all those QST kabooms were getting real annoying.

Its intended. There's a small yellowish cloud right around the ship in the jump effect now.

It appears to not stay around the ship - unless thats intended.

Im not sure if this is intended or not:
When I spin the camera around, I get the stars in the background flashing, like they do in a jump. It doesnt seem to be a huge issue, except it can make my screen really busy at times, especially in combat.

Intended - just needs tweaking. What you're refering to is the now visible star-streak effect.

Star-streak effect would be good if it could be adjusted to a toned down version when the ship is moving, not the camera.
Particularly for the jump animation, which looks exceedingly cool except it only appears when facing back towards where the ship is jumping from.
Also: AM torpedos have a green explosion in their center.

More of a question than a bug; are planetary shields ever going to get a graphic back? I miss crashing when cloud bombing
