Actors Brad Renfro and Heath Ledger were found dead 1 week apart....i find this puzzling....Heath who was an oscar nominated actor who starred in such movies as

10 Things i hate about you.
Casanova
The patriot
Brokeback Mountain
and this years The Dark Knight

was found dead in his apartment in manhatten from a supposed drug overdose

now brad renfro who passed away a week before died from a drug overdose as well but they wont tell you that

he starred in movies such as

bully
the client
Apt Pupil
Hells Kitchen
and the oscar winner Deuses Wild

I find this puzzling as some of my favorite actors passed away due to addictions and other stuff....but gets me is some of these actors/actresses/musical performers were close to my age....like i've always said...anyone born after the 1970's never survives past 40....especially my generation...

just thought i;d share...i know how people tend to not care about movie stars and such

2008 - 1980 = 28.
1980 + 41 = 2021.

In order for someone born after the 1970's to survive past forty, we need to, at the very least, get to the year 2021. No one born after the '70's has had the chance to get to the age of forty, let alone beyond it.

...You know what? No one born in the seventies has had the chance to get to the age of forty. The year is 2008... so... using my incredible math skills, you need to have been born in 1967 to reach the age of forty-one this year.

But perhaps you're were too upset over the loss of these actors to have noticed your error at the time of your post.

...Okay, I can't bring any witty commentary against either of them at the moment, so I chose to make you my victim. But, really. Folks of the generation you described have not had the chance to make it to 40. How can they survive past it?

Wasn't talking about when Heath Ledger was born. In the quote I had used in my first post, I had the limit of any year after the 1970's. I picked 1980, the first year after the seventies. But, really, as I proved, picking any year in the seventies would produce the same effect - no one from that time period has had the chance to get to the age of forty, so you can't judge whether any of them will survive past it.

Its hard to say that Ledger died from your normal Overdose.. My honest guess is that it was a Prescription drug reaction with pneumonia that might have caused his heart to stop.
And yes I am also very happy that Batman is in post production..

Why all the hate for Brokeback Mountain? Its my all time #2 favorite movie, right behind my numero uno the critically acclaimed Hairspray.

I don't. There are only so many days out of the year, and there are several billion people on this planet.

Now, if you had joined DarkSpace on the same year that he was born... that would be pretty odd.

1/365... pretty good odds someone would have the same sign up date.

I guess if you were a fan you might be concerned, but this is just another person. I have no more compassion for some random actor than I do reading a local obituary of someone that I don't know.

I'm certainly not losing sleep over it.
