i c al sort of ds movie's on this forum i was wondering how do you make those movie's

Use programs such as Frapps, this records video as you play. Then you can splice video segments together in a program such as windows movie maker and add music and text and what not. Im the end, after practicing with the program you get something like the examples I made below...you can even have multiple songs fade in and out of each other to make a longer video. These programs mentioned are free downloads...give it a go.

for windows movie maker can you record while in game or do you need to record through fraps then transfer it?

While in game, have Fraps open, you set a hot key "F9" is default i think and each time you press it, it records a 30 second clip then stops. You can stop it short just by pressing your hot key again. It will dump all these video files into a designated folder you create before hand and when your done playing, then you access those clips through windows movie maker...or adobe premier if you got the cash to buy it  ...or have a copy at work.
