is it possible to create a database where players can lookup what planet has those kind of upgrades/tech.
if possible we should get an ingame interface similar to the starmap but then each planet will give a short information on what is available, with some history for the fan fic.

if not ingame possible we could try a new website section where this is implemented, idea would be the same as the MV map only a short popup when you hover over a planet with the info. *perhaps integrate this into the mv map.*

just an idea im had.

I would prefer an in-game wiki browser.

An ingame wiki is a an awesome idea.. which sort of works in tandem of an idea I was thinking of.

Essentially, a database could be created for the history/description of.. everything. It could be tied to another of the F* keys.

Yes, everything. Alot of us have alot of free time and imagination.

Jumpgates, ships, planets, you name it can have a description/information.

As for upgrades, it could be part of the information provided on all planets, or perhaps, it can be viewed on the F3 (Planet) screen. Which in itself, could do with a modification that you can view enemy planets, but only within sensor range (determined by a scanner).

Or for information on Planets, Ships, and Weapons..

Would need help getting a list of all the information, though.
