They pop up in the Newbie Server from time to time.
So I had to Retrofit my ship with some old Tech to battle those Overlords.
But, They would not leave, so, In the words of Rogue Spear "MiRV!"
And thus Earth and Luna taken over by MI layed in ruins.

Its a Slinki Ship.
Hull of ICC Assault Frigate, WH Device, Jump Drive, Cloak, 6 x 1500 Fusion Gens, 4 AME etc.
You cannot see it in those but I also had another planet following me, Can't remember which.

Mir really never left... They were put on the back burner for more important issues like game balance and bug fixes.. Mir still exist... the lurk everywhere and nowhere...
And as far as the gadget count of 64.... so speaketh the truth from the most wise...
We can alter individual NPC ships but anything over 64 just sits there and doesn't work....

I actually think maybe something is going on with NPC based factions. I was bombing the other day (yeah yeah, I know how some of you people just HATE bombing) and I found 2-3 fully built worlds that did not belong to any of the three playable factions.
