Ok remember PAGN NET and the warning about uneven factions... well at this rate the ugto will have no one left to appose it and at that time the game will most surely die for there would be noting to do but chat in lobby. WE NEED TO PREVENT THIS. We are so close to destroying the game we have long held dear...

Who is this person again.... /me looks at his profile... hmm 2 days. Well ive been around for a few days longer then that. I dont think Failure is that close  The people cannot just snap their fingers and everything is fixed. The issues are being worked on as you would realize if you have read other posts in the Forum.

I answered your post with a relpy that yes the issues are being worked on. Maybe I was a little sarcastic and I apologize but new people come into this game and state the issues that we are all aware of already.

Wow, you guys are real helpful to a new player like this.
I mean, you could explain to him that faction's numbers come and go like this alot, or you could do like you have, and say he has no right to complain because he hasnt been here as long as you. He may not know how it works around here, but he showed concern and said something about it.
Way to be a helpful community.
And yes, it may seem that no one will rise up to oppose the UGTO, but things like this happen every few weeks. Where one faction gets a large player boost, and dominates. It'll change over to another faction, then to another..

Crim you are being as sarcastic as I was in the original response yet you say it is wrong to be that way so how does that work? Anyway I apologized already no need to do it again just like no reason for Crim to make a relply like that.
Oh and no I cannot say that things go a week or two and then change because it doesnt always work like that.
Yes the game has issues at the moment they will not be resolved until the new patch comes out.
As far as the factions are concerned that issue can change from one minute to another, not necessarily a week or two. It all depends who is on and how many are on. 10 ICC ships will make 3 UGTO ships run... and vise versa. ICC is just as broke as UGTO is and as KLUTH are.
Oh and Crim I help new people out all the time even when most wouldnt because they act like jerks at times. But I do not need to explain that to you. Instead of turning this ugly I will just end it here on my end.

As an official Guy That Knows Some of the Dev Team Over the Internets, I would like to thank the Illustrious, Venerated member of the DarkSpace community Guardian of the Past for relaying us the messages of the Archbishop of All Knowledge, the great Darkspen. If only the issues that the Omniscient One™ has graciously made known to us were realized sooner, we could have catologued them and begun work to make the changes necessary to fix the game.

I'm going to put this straight.
This happens every once in a while. One faction dominates the map, and then after a few weeks, it goes back to normal. It happened with K'luth a few weeks back, before that ICC, before that UGTO.
It's a cycle that never ends, and UGTO's time will come to an end at a point.
The staff have a policy that stops them from interviening unless it's completely required. This situation has happened hundreds of times before, and and always bounce back. Therefor, I doubt any action will be taken.
Although players are always welcome to do something themselves. Why not try to start an alliance? There are tons of possibilities for you to strike back. I've seen ICC forces larger than UGTO in the MV the past few days, and they tend to disapear after a while. Next time, don't log off - continue playing and ask your fleet mates to help. Hell, you could even ask the faction who's also being run over to help.
