McCay, yes, McCay rocks, definitely my favorite Stargate character, second only to RDA himself.
It sucks that they killed off the doctor guy, I rather liked him too. Knew he'd be the one though. Dangit.
SG1 I'm gonna miss, even if it was past its "glory days" it was still an excellent show, and the new cast members had really grown on me too. Ah well.
Star Trek... Star Trek is ageless guys, even if the costumes and acting are ridiculous.

Thats because star trek sucks and has always sucked. And stargate? dont even get me started on "ButtGate", that show is so horrible fat white trash wont even watch it. It all needs acting that isnt a joke. Not to praise Battlestar now, but at least it has good acting and has a somewhat realistic sense when watching it.

Red Dwarf is more a science-fiction parody, remember, and follows different rules.
Not that I care about rules, anyway. Entertainment value, yay!

If you want classic sci-fi, look no further than Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

if you just want that.
I should not let you get near some of my sci-fi book collections.
e.g. some of the old partial illigal rushian male sci-fi books.
the books had like 300 pages but 9 pictures!
(Tight cloth pants and no upper clothing.)
or other example.
Japanese book sci-fi? mini skirts and see trough clothing for all girls!
(the beginnig of anime.) to bad i only got one book of those.

six it was partially illegal in the days of communism.
since the didn't wanted the capitalism ways of pictures, e.g. partial nakid women published.
however there where a lot of unmaried workers and sorts so it was actualy printed by a communist printer allowed by the party.
problem was it was illigal to show these things in public.
most are about the soviet union going to luna, venus or saturn. with some form of capitalist spy, fight onboard about lennin or some woman waithing back in rushia for one of the two guys, etc.

SG1 was and still is the best science fiction show you're likely to find. It keeps its contemporary issues value and connection and blows the door wide open from a story perspective.
BSG was good in the first season... now its just fricking wierd. I didn't watch any of the 3rd season when scifi tried to pull that BS that they did with splitting BSG & the 'gates up. They deserved what they got in the ratings hit.
I was warming upto Atlantis so much and then they went & killed off the best character! Don't get me wrong, Shep's badass and McKay is... well hes just annoying - never liked him much... but still... I'ma miss Carson
SA: The acting is fantastic, its just not BSG/Soap Opera-y

i agree with SG1. its the best RL sci-fi you could get.
It builds up from day current life and rapedly expends to known questions about dead and even current religions.
BSG i agree to it was a good first season.
even with the upcomming of pegassis.
stil the totaly wrecked it up with there cylon ocupation. (got to confusing to watch
SG atlantis. mm i liked the idea but didn't realy got in there until the made concact with the gheny (or however you type it).
yes shep's is cool. so is ronan and teyla.
and the ting with mckay and Zelenka oo just lovely two nurds fighting over physics that don't apply.
thats defenatly somthing i like about the cast.
