Hmm, would have to be getting a NES for Christmas long ago.
The thing that turned me into a computer gamer would be the squish noise I heard from the Harvester in C&C, back in '95.
This game turned me into a "MMoG"er.
The arcade game that scared the crap out of me as a kid would be Sinistar.

Well if it is PC gaming on-line .. It was Mech Warrior on the GeNie Game Network...
The first network designed specifically to MMO..... it was awsome.... 200+ planets to try to capture... you started off in a military unit and could eventually become ruler of the inner sphere... if you had what it took..
off line games (and the ocassional on-line) was X-wing vs. Tie Fighter, Unreal (the original has sweet graphixs for its time) and the original half life and its counterstrike/team fortress games....
oh and the PONG game i used to own too....

with me it was mario bro's on nes.. and its been down hill since, my first lan game was mech warroir played at a sci-fi con in the mid 90's, then it was star trek armada for the first online game, now this game

Age of Empires II. First game I ever played at me friend's house before I had my own computer. Then on to The Sims and StarCraft.

DarkSpace is the only game i seem to stay in im afraid I am a stow away. I want to leave this game behind me but whenever I try I end up right back up at square one so I gave up trying to leave.
