Right im bored so i decided to post this:
What would you define as a good/nice DS community member?
For example what:
-Characterists
-Personality
-Humor
-Intelligence (duh..  )
-Contributions
-Interests (yeah foods aswell, even though in some cases the obvious answer is CHEESE)
Also who do you think is a nice DS community member?
*It might be a pointless thread but it might bring the community closer together because no one is perfect (BTW im not a soppy person  )
*Also i'd like to thankall of the community for being nice people to me (again im not soppy)

As far as playing goes, a team-player who still can have fun with the people they're fighting with and against and not just doing it for personal profile gains.
In the lobby and forums, someone who can have a laugh but not get involved in the stupid squabbling that always comes about.
Someone who ends sentences with a period and not "lol"
Somewhere along the lines this post took the form of a lonely hearts ad, but......yeah.
No-one's going to be perfect, but anyone who ticks at least some of those boxes is someone I can like and respect.

I, Rogue Spear consider myself the perfect Darkspace community member. Heres a small list of things that describe what I'm all about:
-Attitude, I have a positive outlook on everything
-Smart, Im a wealth of knowledge on all sorts of topics
-Sophisticated, I present a mature and professional image
-Helpful, I always help a new player in distress
-Outgoing, Im a very outgoing and likable person
-Loyal, Ive been loyal to this game for over 5 years
-Entertaining, I try to make the game exciting for everyone I meet

Someone who can Talk to anyone, Someone who can Distinguish between a Person and a Player, can be very different.

The best DS players are defined in my book as such:
- Knows all the exploits and refuses to take advantage of them.
- Is friendly, fair and forgiving to all players, even bitter rivals.
- Is well versed in all the fine details of the game, from building to combat tactics.
- Contributes to the community with ideas, assistance to new players, and meaningful feedback in the forums.
- Talks enough that people know him/her well, while being careful not to talk too much that he/she becomes annoying.
- Has the restraint to hold back and take a supporting role in a battle to keep it balanced for both sides.
- Has the patience to stand guard and help new players understand concepts.
- Is respected as a genuinely good person by the vast majority of players, even those on opposing sides.
These are the features that I found in most of the long-standing veterans of this game when I first joined 2 years ago, and this is the standard to which I hold myself.

Examples of good Darkspace community members: Drafell, Shigernafy, Rogue Spear.
Examples of bad Darkspace community members: xTx, Vore, mousey.
