And also i keep geting night mares of him dieing over there and I never dream... this is all of a sudden. I dont know what to do... I am all lost...

Not much you can do. My brother is in Iraq. I have no worries at all. Do things to get your mind off it. The dreams are being caused by you thinking about it so much. The virus is caused by stress also. Don't worry about him. All will be fine. What service is he in?

my brothers going in for training into the army on monday, obviestly you should be worried but then you gotta remember all you hear about iraq/afghanistan is what the media tells you, and these days only seem to be telling you about all the bad things going on over there never highlighting what those poor lads/ladies go thru every day becouse they decided to fight some one elses war.

you dad will be fine depending on who hes serving, what hell be doing and who he works with. if his desire to get back to life where you are then he will have it in his head that nothing will stop him and in that sense you should worry, hell i dont mind my bro joinin the army cus i was going to join with him but my GF wudnt let me. All you need to think about your dad going over there is the positive contribution he is giving to that country becouse the media are a pain in the ass when it comes to the war becouse if its goin on to them its a very bad thing.

Hope that helped ya bud.

Contrary to media propoganda, anyone going to Iraq will probably not die.
There are thousands upon thousands of troops out there and not even one a day die.

He should be fine, I hope he will be and anyone else in that warzone.

dying in the army isnt as high as you think. Though it might be kind of risky, but your father is doing what he wants to do even in the face of danger. So I think you should be proud of him for that. Be sure to give him a good welcome home too

if you know where exactly in Iraq he is going and his MOS I can give you an idea of how things are gonna be for him. Like it was stated earlier, most people have extremely long and boring deployments, only 5% of troops actually leave the wire, even fewer see combat. Im not saying its not dangerous, but I wouldnt worry about it to much.
