Because A) I can afford it, B) I do like to pop in & blow up some ICC with ion cannons occasionallly and C) The game will go absolutely NOWHERE if it doesn't have any support to pay for the servers.

Staff do what they can, and aren't payed for it.
Moderators aren't payed for dealing with the petty squables that we all generate.
Admins aren't payed for dealing with pretty much everything.
Developers aren't payed for making the game better.
Just because you don't see them, doesn't mean they aren't doing something.
