Even bombing is part of the game. Its good to remember that. Being the one chosen out of that list wouldn't be a position of honor likely; only the highest level of disgrace.
To be on the top of that list only points out those mirvers to a disgruntled community.

The fact that Coca Cola is made with water doesn't mean you want to add anymore water, or it'll taste bad.
We already have enough mirvers, I don't see why we should pin medals to their jackets.
Neutring is fine to me, and yes one could become "neuter of the week".

I should make a picture.....mirv nuts, heh.
I think this player of the week is a bad idea. Itll end up being way too bias, like the Comp requests. Only certain people who know certain people on here will ever get it. I think its lame.

Sanity, the badge system would be pretty much automated. Computer says this person got most (combat/repair/overall) pres and the admins give the badge and post it.
So really, its hard to biase on that.

If you think it works that way, then you sir, are a moron.
The badge thing was done before and it didn't catch on too well (although this wasn't a player of the month/week/day/whatever.
Also, we have the rankings page, why do we need the badge system?

Comp requests aren't biased.. Look at me, not many people really like me, yet my only comp request has been approved because it was valid.. As for the player of the week, as long as it isn't based on votes it wont be biased

unless you know something i dont jack, the ranking page doesnt show who grew the most. And i defenitly dont notice that by just looking at it, there are to many players for that.

I know that we have rankings, but if take those into consideration, then Coombie will keep on winning every day for the next 3 years.
This Player of the week would make sense, because we'd have a "winner" more often, and it would reward who's playing, rather than who's got a lot of points and who's not playing in that period.

I was talking to SA. If he thinks the compensation requests get dealt with quicker if you know someone, then he's a moron.
Also, why shouldn't Coombie deserve to win? He played harder, longer, better than any of us?

This is actuly one of the bether ideas ive seen!
Would be fun to see who have gained the most points for each week, months is abit to long maybe? but u can also have both...
Aswell to have a ranking system to it..like the best 100, then it would be more fun to see what ppl actuly have done the last week or so...as for coombie winning evry week, he does already, as hes Nr 1.
This would just enforce a bether game play for the newer members to actuly see their names on the list.
And it wouldn`t be much work to do this, as an admin can just make a little tweak so it would be automatic. Ive seen alot of other games that does this, and its actuly intresting to see.

Trying to argue with an opinion makes it invalid. Watered down coca-cola ain't that bad, though, just FYI.
Also, I want to point out that I doubt many people will 'compete' for a badge which I doubt sincerely could be any source of pride. People would much rather be top on Combat, or Building.
But again. Bombing is part of the game. It is not bad on its own - remember! But the fact that people abuse it for prestige makes it so. Having the most gained in a month would only mark that person who abuses it the most, so I can't see it having much merit - at least not until 1.484.
Bombing is one stat - there is no way to differentiate between what is a mirver and who is a neuter, and one is scarcely better than the other.
