We all need to calm down in the Forums lately. First off. Dont post an idea unless you are willing to hear from people that will think it is not a very good idea. As for people who do not like the idea, dont just say its a crap idea and hes not 'veteran' enough yet to understand why. Explain why it is a bad idea. how would it have a negative effect on gameplay, or explain what we already have that is similar to the proposed idea.
Keep in mind that tone of voice does not translate over forums very well. You have to go that extra step to be clear in your statements. For example, what sounds like a kind, eductating statement like "check the RoC." to you may sound like a cold 'dont bother me with this', arrogant brush-off statement to the person you say it to.
We already have mods and admins locking threads for crappy player behavior. Get it together people. A good, kind community is about all DS has going for it right now.
