Hola,
currently using a Windows Vista Ultimate and found a couple of things out.
1) when the game needs to be patch make sure you right click you DS icon and run it as an administrator. if you dont no patching and thus no lobby.
2) When trying to connect the game crashes... unfortunately i cannot copy the error message because it would be in Dutch... and im not gonna translate it, i might screw up the translation and send Faustus on a debug hell tour.
mind you this was done using the current release and not the Beta client.
havent had the time to test the new beta.
any things we need to keep an eye on when i get the time to test?

Try browsing the DarkSpace installation directory, and setting all the executable files (*.exe) to WinXP compatibility mode.

Works for me...
All I did was hit "Update", and it ran perfectly...

He's right.
I couldn't get it to run, and then I realised I hadn't clicked update. It worked flawlessly after that.

well for some freaky reason im stil getting an error, must be on my end then, its good to hear DS works with Vista for "most" ppls
