Breaking News
The ambassadors discuss the sterility issue in the void have been taken hostage! We are now free to release the fact that the secret location in the void is a Pirate Station. The deliberations broke down completely days ago. No resolutions were passed to address the sterility issue. As the ambassadors prepared to depart, a large fleet of pirate vessels jumped to the station. Each ambassador had one dreadnaught vessel waiting near the station. The Pirate Station and the Pirate fleet attacked suddenly, swarming all around the three dreadnaughts. The sudden attack left the three dreadnaughts confused and disorganized. They fired on each other as well as the Pirate vessels. With weapons powered down for diplomatic reasons, return fire was slow and weak.
The Pirates sustained minimal losses in terms of vessels and lives. The Pirate Station received damage to its main power reactors in the battle, costing the station its shields and beams. Atmospheric pressure was lost on the fore quad from decks 132 to 207, due to torpedo impacts.
All three dreadnaughts were destroyed and components salvaged to the pirate fleet. Of the salvage, we have confirmed one cloaking device, two shield generators, twelve A-34 fighters, a QST device, and three Disruptor Assaults. Little way gained from the ICC dreadnaught, as it activated its self-destruct to prevent salvage.
The Pirates have taken the ambassadors hostage, and extraordinary ransoms are being asked of all three factions. Each faction refuses thus far to speak with each other to coordinate efforts on this delicate situation. UGTO High Command refuses to comment on the situation or their current plans for resolving it.
