Makes me angry that people ar emaking money on other peoples suffering. Did any of the families who lost thier loved ones in those two horrific event recieve and money from the profits of the movies? I don't think so...

I wanna shoot anyone who thinks that was a good movie...talk about capitalizing on others grief. Cage should be dragged by a volkswagon from the east coast to the west. This movie is a mochary of what our counrty should be. Maybe if the US didnt poke its nose in everyones buisness....give our arms to know countries that cause trouble....and lie to its own public...this may of never happened. Oh and i forgot about the hiring of islamic extremists to work for the CIA and then wonder how 10 years later they figured out how to bomb the us with airplanes.......americans are stupid and deserved 911.

Universal donated $1.something million to a charity about the Flight 93 victims.

So to answer your question before the rampant hate of big companies spirals out of control: Yes, they did.

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=universal+million+flight+93&meta=

Also from Wikipedia Re: World Trade Center

Quote:
The Port Authority police officers who are played by Cage and Peña, John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno, and their wives, played by Bello and Gyllenhaal, were involved with the production and continue to support the film. McLoughlin's wife Donna has said: "We got involved because we felt it needed to be done accurately. We wanted to do the right thing and I think the filmmakers wanted to do the right thing too."

From what I can tell, no donation was made from the profits of World Trade Center. This was all discovered in less than 5 minutes on google.

well, was Pearl harbor a mockery of History? no it wasnt it was dedicated to those who lost their lives on December 7th 1941 and 60 years later 9/11 happens and make a film about it in 2006....in 1976 Midway was Released so are all these war movies or dedications mockerys? you think about this and comment after you've thought long and hard about it :|

I think this country and its government is a mochary of what it really should be. America died moments after it was born. Thats all I have to say about a government that cares more about the interestes of another country before it addresses the problems it has with its own system and its citizens.

United 93 was good. Of course, people wouldn't want you to think that. Go watch that one atleast. As for WTC, havn't seen it, probably wont.

How did I know this was gonna be a Goth thread?

Oh, I know, because Goth doesn't understand how to not post threads that can very easily lead to heated arguements and hate-mongering.

How observant of me.
