**types sleepily**

I'm sure we've all heard of the fabled Ghost Knife...

I remembered the name and Googled "ghostknife darkspace" up (as I didn't want to navigate the forums :/ ), and found it here:
http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/general-requests/2001-ghostknife-dreadnought.html
TF-72 gets credit for the design...

Well, I've tried my hand at it, and there's still work to do, but here's what I've done so far...

Original Spec

In memory of the Ghostknife!

[edit] I was a little lazy and just used the 'head' of the model from another model, but I think it fits in just fine. I'll try finishing the textures in the 'morrow [/edit]

Hey YIIMM that concept art looks like a mouth set of teeth like your siggy set of teeth dread =P

--
Anywho, LOA I like your version of this ugto dread concept. I have orange highlights and baged hull (fixed hull colour, because it was blue..) "white-" textures for ugto's texture collection, if you want them here.

i like the idea of a huge station size ship that can move decetly. make it only available to like FA or GA. Give it some supply points, fighter bays, guns, and its good to go

Actually, YIIMM's sig reminds me of the late model Evas, for some reason...

I was logging into Darkspace.net for the hell of it and noticed this thread. And I have to say... That's freaking amazing, I nearly had a heart attack of joy when I saw Drafell model my precious, and now I'm about to pee my pants. Thank you

If more art of the Ghostknife is needed I have a stack of it... It's from a fiction I've been working on for a while, that has several illustrated segments.

Here's a ship I designed to be a much smaller destroyer class complement to the Ghostknife, forming up with fighters as part of strike wings. Or something like that.

Either way, enjoy

I never came up with a name for it.

Not really, but yeah I see the similarities. I actually themed it after the UGTO, and the Kushan from homeworld.

Thanks for the comments!
And hi TF-72!

^^

However, it seems I have accidentally over-written the file with a .blend file of the default cube that shows up on start-up...

QQ

Life always finds a way to suck... I'm trying to remake it using these pics as references.

Ok I did a quick side-view of the Ghostknife, based on your version, and made some slight changes. I'll post more as I do them, but it should help a lot, especially concerning the middle parts of the ship, where the upper and lower hulls connect.
