way to complicated in my opinion
how about this
all 3 factions meet in deep space ( place decided by mod/admin)
factions can bring what they want, but should probably bring supply ships/stations
have a great big brawl!!!!
mods/admin keep track of combat pres and decide top 3 places, with prizes
and a new medal awarded, called "OMG You Died again"
see, simple and lots of fun
tell me when it starts

This sounds like a good idea. A step by step fight till you get to the station boss, but shig is right on some parts of his statement. The bigger ships would get some defence/escort, and pres for the prize should be changed. You dont want to see a midshipman jump up alot of ranks cause his scout is unkillable.

personally i think its a good idea and can be implemented.
SUnie and blackhawk next to have a discussion with shigsy about this event and Compramise for it,
and if it is ok id like to request to be boss. Missile dread. and no before u ask its not all torps
