my suggestion is we keep SY's but just as spawn points but make the gates go back to the Resource Collecting so we can spawn ships without fear of Crashing into planets just by spawning from a SY planet reasons are this....it makes Scenarios more fast paced and speedy and the MV would have more action and less compensation requests XD

Or, we could just see if the network code optimizations work, and ask Faustus to optimize the spawn-code, instead of trying to re-impliment something that would take twice as long to code, and would involve a lot more stat-following on the servers (via the resources having to be gotten from all the planets).
