I don't know that we do, anymore. The German side used to be pretty large, though, mainly because DarkSpace was originally being published by a German company.. though that hasn't been the case for almost six years - and over the years, as people have left, the German community has dwindled.
So leider haben wir jetzt fast keine deutsch fan-Gemeinde.. (aber wir haben auch fast keine english gemeinde - aber wenn die Spiele ... saugt? (ich kenne die Umgangssprache nicht), es ist nicht besonders eine ueberrashung...)

Naja... was soll man auch groß von einem Spiel erwarten, das von 1/2 Mann noch aufrechtgehalten und programmiert wird. Und das über einen so großen Zeitraum.
Früher war es ja noch was neues und aufregendes, nur ist über die Zeit das Spiel leider veraltet udn viele sind zu neuen und aufregenden Spielen abgewandert, in welchen auch schnellere Bugfixes und Verbesserungen kommen.
Klar, Faustus kann das leider nicht alles schnell alleine machen, was ich auch sehr schade finde, da es bei Bluebyte doch eine größere Chance gehabt hatte, aber Tatsache ist nunmal das es viele bessere und innovativere Alternativen gibt.
Ich möchte aber die Zeit hier nicht missen, da es wirklich viel Spaß gemacht hat und eine echt nette Zeit gehabt habe.

es geht nich um "veraltet"
es geht darum das das spiel an den spielern vorbei entwickelt wurde.
Keine sau wollte shipyards und den schmockes.
Wir wollten nen paar kleine blance tweaks bei den cl2k's auf kluth dessys und ne moderate verbeserrung der planeten def.
Was bekommen wir? Shipyards, nen MV das für die noch nie sehr hohe spielerzahl viel zu groß ist und das mirved to death syndrom.
was soll man dazu noch sagen außer "no thx" ?

Jaaaaaa, traurig ist's. Da kommt man nach längerer Zeit mal wieder hierher und muß feststellen daß sich (wie zu erwarten) nichts zum besseren getan hat.
Ich bin immer noch erstaunt, wie man ein Produkt dermaßen an die Wand fahren kann.
(Wir hatten Faustus 2003 mal kontaktiert, aber unnötig zu erwähnen, daß daraus nichts geworden ist - sonst würde es diesen Thread hier vermutlich nicht geben).
Geschäftlich muß ich sagen: Aua! Total versiebt, angefangen beim Marketing über Community management bis zum Produkt selbst. Traurig.
Privat bleibt mir nur eins: Lang lebe ExS! *seufz*
(Jaja... wir sind ja nicht tot, nur "weg". Und glaubt mir, ich habe Eve nicht angefaßt! Ehrlich! )
Also haltet die Ohren steif!

Aber die Durchhalteparolen haben schon Ähnlichkeiten mit denen vom irakischen Informationsminister

we are talking about Darkspace  And that it was really nice 2003/2004 then we got shipyards and now Darkspace is lost in space.
And the metaverse is toooo big for that small amount of players.
And then we talked about that Bumble is to nice to get the blame for every mistake Faustus did.
