bah.. i hate kicking a dead horse, but i'll do it anyways... THE LINK POSTED contained one slightly off color word, and imo is suitable for anyone that would play this game... as with THE REST OF THE INTERNET you SURF AT YOUR OWN RISK. this isn't grade one or two, and by posting a link to something funny or humorous the 'poster' is in no way RESPONSIBLE for the rest of the content on said site if it is outside of the link posted.

But some of the OTHER content on that site was NOT suitable. I don't think DarkSpace needs people giving youngsters a head start to needing soap to wash out their mouths. Neither does it need players handing out links to sites that contain non-PG13 content.
And the poster IS responsible for that link. If I posted a link to a site with what I thought was a funny picture, and on the right it had an advert for a porn service, it's MY fault that kids click on that link and see those images. It might not damage them, but what if that young person then clicked on that link, and what if the parent of that child see's that stuff, and asks where did you get it from?... The first thing he's going to say is "SOMEONE ON THIS GAME GAVE IT TO ME".
Then:
A) That person won't be allowed to play DarkSpace, or any other game till he's past puberty.
B) DarkSpace could get a whole load of legal crap on it's ass, which would not be good (AT ALL).
I think you need to open your minds a little more to just how old some of the people playing DarkSpace are. They can find those links and content elsewhere, but I don't really want those kids finding those links through a community that I love and (mostly) respect.

kk, after closer inspection of said site, i must agree... I WAS WRONG and admit it.. there is too much adult content to even have a pg. 13 rating.. sorry all 
& btw backy... get off your high horse. exactly what does that last line in your message mean? (mostly) respect? if ya got a problem, forget the 'subtle gibes' and damn well stand up and say what ya gotta say. i really hate cheap shots.

A good handfull of the community have abused weaknesses in the game mechanics to gain rank at an abnormal rate.

Subtle? I make my distaste towards those who abuse the weaknesses in the game mechanics very well known. And high horse? You agree'd with me about the website, so perhaps you should get off yours too?
