You have gone down in my estimations people, ROC is clear.

The use of overtly offensive, profane, sexually explicit, or abusive language, outside of any venue where it is explicitly permitted, is forbidden.
This includes any form of communication that is derogatory or obscene, including but not limited to biased comments based on gender, sexuality, age, race, ethnicity, or religion. This also includes Player and Clan names and is forbidden in all venues of the DarkSpace Communication System, including Clan Pages on the DarkSpace web site, official DarkSpace and PaleStar Forums, and the Chat Rooms, EXCEPT any specific ones where it is explicitly permitted. In addition, communicating links to material outside of the DarkSpace Game System with such content outside of the proper venue is forbidden.

Psychiatric problems are not amusing, and therefor derogatory comments are not allowed.

Mods, you should know better.
Decide when you wish to draw the line and let me know,
If people were to post regarding colour, religion etc its clear. People with MH problems deserve the same respect.

Downey, chill. We aren't saying anything derogatory about people with mental health problems, we're just poking fun at the stereotypes of them. There's a difference between saying "Im' sysdlecix!" and "Dyslexics are stupid".

Its slightly ironic to me that some of the same folks that had problems with "offensive" words and phrases would be insensitive when the situation is reversed. Not only is the shoe on the other foot, but Lord Downey politely, without malice or belligerence, explained to you what the issue at hand was. And what did you do?

Slap him in the face.

Way to go. Erase vulgarity and offensiveness when it suits you, laugh at others when it seems funny. Gotcha.

But all things aside, you have(or if your stubborn and can't take a joke) to admit that was funny...

Wasn't going to post here because I didn't have the right words. Bito put it perfectly though.

Well, Bito's gone and posted the obvious, so I'll follow with something I was saving for later...

Melly, what in God's name do you think you're doing?

You raise such hell about the use of "rape" as a gaming term, claiming such offense and taking it to such a highly turbulent level more than once... and then you take an issue that is just as likely to offend people with sensitivities akin to your sensitivity to the word "rape," and laugh at them.

I want you to realize something. I laughed at this thread. I didn't stop myself from saying I was laughing. Another user even posted similar sensitivies to yours, and his name is Lord Downey.

I acknowledged his legitimate complaint, and then I kept laughing because I personally did not take the offense that he did.

Now imagine this was you.

How would you feel, Melly? And more importantly, what is it you wish us to do? Forbid "rape" as an offensive topic and then allow you to commit the same kind of humorously-intended mockery that, if it had been rape, you'd have been so "seriously offended" by?

I am sorry, but this is not behavior that I can respect, and I am at this moment ashamed that I ever backed you up on the issue.

Funny stuff Melly Moo. But honestly whether some one makes fun of me(dont have any mental or physical problems, wait i am crazy.... for Melly) or makes fun of a rock rest asured that more than likely i would laugh at it as we all know life is too short to go arould angry. If you didn't think it was funny find something 10 times more funny.
