Dang right. Besides, if the US armed forces were defeated, it's not like the American populace have their own Anti-Aircraft guns, eh? If you're talking about an infantry invasion, no tanks involved, perhaps the millions of Americans could kill a few people...but not many from a trained, heavily armed military force, if that military theoretically tried to capture city by city, without air, armor, or naval support. And even then, it's not like the American populace would all form an organized army, it'd be more like isolated pockets of resistance.

missile defense shield=worthless waste of tax payers money, which is the main reason we didnt join. nobody launches nuclear missiles, because theyd get a ton of nuclear missiles shot at them by a lot of other people.
also, ground fired missile interception missiles dont work, what makes you think ones launched from space will?

China's army= 2.3 million active soldiers, US= 499,000 active soldiers
Even with chance, its hard to compare...

also as a side note you'd be surprised how well armed some Americans are, i myself have a stash of M-67s in my closet, also i think one of my friends has a Anti-Material rifle somewhere
