i did/didn't know him personaly
he was nice kind person. always willing to answer questions or even help new players.
even if you were on the opposit team. he was always willing to giving advice when you asked, and somthimes when you didn't ask he gave it anny way.
even wil i didn't get to know him as personaly, he was a great player to play with and against.
unfortianatly i misst all the past memorial days.
and i got evening shift on that week-end i wil try to make it this time.

Missed last years memorial because I was in Iraq but I am not missing it this year. I played a few times against him as a fledgling NooB DS player on my first account and learned alot from him. he taught me alot about the basics which really got me though the early portion of my DS career. He is truely missed in the community.
/me gets out his bugle and plays Taps for his fallen DS Comrade as the GTN flag is lowered to half mast.
Rocko, out...

I would LOVE to be there, but mid-evening for europe is mid-day for US, and I work on the weekends all day. I wish i could be there.... hmmm perhaps telling them i am going to a memorial service they will cut me some slack and let me go in late or something.... or, since its so far in the future i could request it off..... i will figure something out. count me as 80% chance of being there.

Manowar, this is a annual event and we as players will be organizing a event where we will most likely be doing 21 gun salutes and such. You are very welcome to come in and participate. We have some players that will be organizing it in the MV when the date and time comes. Just show up with your nicest ship and you will fit right in.

I missed last years. I'll honor a fallen warrior of DS, even if I never did get to meet him.
