Is the server down right now? Everytime I try to connect it gives me a failure error. I wasn't sure if it was me or everyone cause when i came to the hompage it was showing people on.

Huh...wierd. I have un-instaled and and installed my clinet and made sure there weren't any firewalls or anything stopping me from connecting. Anyone got any other ideas?

I've tried to log in about 10 times, turned off my firewalls to see if there was an issue there, reset my modem/router/PC to see if there was an IP address issue, etc..... I finally remembered my PW and was able to post this. I've been having this issue since Friday night (10-29-05). I've pinged the www.darkspace.net address and it looks good. I don't know what else to do. I've also sent an email to support.

Is this the only way to get in touch w/ someone from DarkSpace? Not sure if it's going to actually let someone know there's an issue? It would be nice if there was a lobby chat w/ someone there from the Darkspace staff (similar to the lobby you can chat in). If there is something like that available, it would be nice to know about.

I tried resetting everything as well with no luck. IMO- the mods are pretty good about responding to post when they see them. Give them some time they have always responded to me in the past.

If you have just installed the game, you still need to force an update. Note, it states so in the MOTD:

Read the "-Important" line...
Once you install or if you are having trouble connecting to a server, click the UPDATE button located on the tool bar above. It will force your client to update and fix your connectivity issues.

I don't know if it's anything at all to do with the client, because for the majority of the day I couldn't even access the website, let alone log in using the client.

There was a problem with our name servers. I noted it this morning and called Faustus that got them fixed.
