HKG!

As the topic says this is an invitation. An invitation to BETA test this game!
Here is what I propose:

When : 2-4 Hrs Sat. Oct 22nd starting at 8pm Central
Where : BETA Server for DarkSpace
Why : To test the next version of the game!

Look Im not going to give up asking for testers so do me the solid of getting your buttz in there.
Im not a vet but I do luv this game and the current version to put it mildly sux! Now the beta sever is not the game we will be playing but its a start. It lacks modding and some of the other key features were expecting but this really is a good thing because it gives us a chance to test the lil thingz. The lil thingz that were obviously missed in the current versions testing procedure. Now not being a vet is no reason not to participate and failure to have your bugs and gripes from previous beta's should also not keep you away. Look in alot of instances if you found a bug or something didnt seem right and you posted it and it seemed your pleas were not heard, maybe just maybe the powers that be felt those pleas may have been bias to some degree due to a LACK of Beta testers. So in a nutshell here I am not begging but respectfully requesting you join me and the rest of the DS community in Beta Testing OUR game. Lets do this right lets do it often and lets get the game back to what it once was for ALL of us.

If for any reason this day(sat) and time(evening) is not kewl for you....Post when might be and next time Ill post a different time for the PARTY!

Thanx in advance for you R.S.V.P

There's lack of ANYTHING to test. There's nothing to test but the new resource system...

Untill F puts in the new modding code, we can't really do much.

So what, then don’t come.

Let it be a returning event so we sure, if anything, that new code get tested and not like the last time, where things got ugly.

I for one applauds Thugs initiative to get more into testing and making timed sessions on an regular basis could be the way to go, considering the limit on the player base.

Im i the only one that a bit feed up with barkeys "shot down every idea that’s not my own" scheme?

Good thinking thug...

I support this idea.

And, in this case, I also agree with Ragglock. Given the horrendous turnout that happened last time, Jack, we CANNOT afford to discourage any kind of initiative to begin testing. Even if there are presently very minimal things to test.

Of course, given the result of what the poor Beta testing turnout achieved last time for the K'luth faction, I would say that some people have something to gain from a poor turnout this time around, as well.

--

And, no, Jack. I'm not targetting you, because you play K'luth under your secret identity, as you revealed to me the other day. Right?

And I for one am fed up of you thinking that. I just see no point in testing something that doesn't need testing :/. I also didn't "Shoot it down". I just stated my views that there was nothing really worth testing in beta yet. I suggest you start learning to read posts Ragg if you want to "shoot down my posts".

Nothing substantial has been done to B1.484 yet... I'd save this for when the new modding system has been completed or something more substantial...

there is a point, it will be a case of unmodded ships against unmodded ships,
Ideal way, in my opinion of setting, a benchmark standard.
Easiest way of testing for inequalities.

DO IT.
Im getting lonely in there.

PS rumour has it that DORAN has promised us all Beta Badges!!!!!

OK i Lied about the badges.

there's really not much new in there, and for that reason i dont see a large turn out for it,

as many as can just show up.

you can think of these sessions as prelude to when the actuly testing of the new version starts.

see this as your chance to wrickle out installing the beta and make some test runs , im sure someone can be there if anyone need help installing or setting up.

anyway testing is free and dont afect your regular profile , so this is allso your chance to actuly self-d thos 10 stations or try to land your dred on a planet see how that goes

i would surgest that next weeks session got cut by 2 hours 8 pm is late for me its 03.00 am 5 - 6 pm would probaly suite me and others from EU region better
