Maybe I missed it, but how?

If we have the fleet treasury, and the fleet has planets, that have income, that is one way for fleets to have money for its players.

non-fleet also have planets, but to controll cash flow? Perhaps a max withdrawl limit per day?

Have doing things for profit. Building gives so many creds per building built. Fixing a planet that is broken, such as after a plage or low food; the population will be gratefull and give credits for helping them. These are random events so they can not be abused.

Killing pirate ships, reward for it. Possable abuse. Better - caping pirat planets and freeing them from the tyany! But to give creds to those involved would require tracking who bombed, droped inf (easy one), who provided combat cover, ect. Unless there was a way to label a group of players as 'the group' and creds would goto them; solves arguments over who gets them.

Oh shut up Ya know what I mean

But if you dont.... 5 ships go caping.. they form a group and can label eachouther as such being a group. Just a icon when you select a friendly ship to add him to the group. And a icon to disband/remove. With a server notice that you are added/removed/disbanded.

I posted this in another thread but I beleive it is more suited for this topic.

BTW... about money to mod things... Planets currently have an income... Where does that go?

If it were a Fleet planet couldn't those credits go to a Fleet account where you could withdraw a certain amount of credits, per day, to your own account where you could use it to mod your ship...

And I know where you are going... What about the Fleetless Controlled Planets? Well if, and this is a BIG if, players would find themselves in fleets we wouldn't have to worry about fleetless planets.

I know this may be a little out of place but I just try to figure out ways around things that are perceived as problems.

... I love that idea. Maybe a weekly military stipend based off any number of things? Say, your combat prestigue, or repair prestigue, or construction, or any combination of them all.. Or maybe your ranking.. etc..

I like that. But only if you play. Els people will just wait for a month, then come in with loads of money and masive mod. Meanwhile the rest acualy work for the money and mod as they go and maybe even loose ships. The ones that play more will wind up being behind in ship moding from the ones that never play.

But then what of the peeps that just dont have the time to play? Id think most could always manage to log into the MV once a week, and that would get you paid. Like showing up for work on payday

About anything may get abused, were just hoping for the best.

Love the idea!

Well, Drow. I got a big nice goooood idea for this.

It benefits Palestar too.

Simply put: You can only gain stipend money if.. and ONLY if.. You have a active (paying) account.

So sure, let someone wait a month. That's their 10 dollars they're still giving to the devolopers of our favorite space game.

Or perhaps a weekly stipend is decided by prestigue gained. Ala, if you don't play alot, you might get the minimum of a stipend, perhaps just for paying. But if you gained, say, 500 combat experience in that week, it adds a bonus to your stipend.

Sure might urge some of those lobby camping folks back in. Yis.
