Have ships named after office equipment:
Stapler : mineship, mines drop out of the slot between the two parts
Three Hole Punch : carrier, fighters pop out of the holes and pegs that make the holes in the paper (6 total, 3 top and 3 bottom)
Ball Point Pen : Shoots either a large laser out the front, or shoots torps (the ball of the point).. maybe have like 10 and they fire in rapid sequence..
Telephone : Supply ship? Flying battery? It "transfers" health or energy to you.. like it transfers your call.
