With the increase in cost in upgrading/moding, and ships being worth more, I think it seems a sensible idea that there should be 2-3 times more storage for ships, since 6 is currently not enough.

12-18 seems like too many ship slots to me...perhaps 10? But I agree that we need more garage spots...

that would be nice, or if perhaps when you ( for those not in clans or new players wanting to try all factions) switch factions you have a clean garage.. lets say you have a BD, hvy supply, bomber... then you goto ICC , those 3 ships are only visible and apply to garage storage when you're ugto, you can have 6 of each faction. face it, you can't fly the damn BD when you're ICC so why have to look at it and have it useing up space?

and by seperating the garages to factions being played at the time it saves from one huge cluster of redded out ships in the ship selection screen

that would be much better than simply having 18 ships in storage
and frankly having 18 ships of one faction is a bit much anyway

you ppl get soo materialistic

I like Dark Prophet's idea best, while more overall slots would be nice, seperate garages for each faction would be nicer...I know how annoying it is to have to remove a ship you can't even use because it's on another faction so you can fit another ship from your faction...

Well, now I dont think its a good idea... Its a better idea to discourage faction hopping.

Why? Some of us like playing more than one - and NOT just to be on the winning side. I'm rather sick, to be honest, of people painting 'faction hoppers' in a negative light.

It was never intended for people to switch faction on a whim IMO... and yes... thats the primary reason -why- faction hoppers are painted in a negitive light. Because 99% of them hop to the winning side.

Personally, I don't think there is any reason for more than the current 6 slots. No valid reason given here either.

Things are fine the way they are, people who play many sides know how to manage their space and those that wish to bind themselves to one side know that they must choose their ships carefully. The purpose of the garage is to allow some variety and ready availability so some ships.

The purpose is not however to have a ready made fleet all modded up and available at the whim of a single player.

Not to have a ready made fleet by one peep? I beg your pardon if if any idiot wants to burn ship after ship in his/her garage, they wont be in anything but a scout before long.

i like the separit garages for each faction. thats the best idea yet.

also id like to see some item stacking in the item storage.

heavy chem lazer lvl 10 (4 of them) in one slot..... when you click it once, only 3 left..... etc...
