Well, I wasn't damaged because you couldn't hit me.

You were damaged because I could hit you.

It didn't matter if I had no armor at all... I was dodging all your shots.

And I had eight Level 8 particle cannons and a pair of level 8 torps to match your level 8 armor...

You have organic armour dude...its ... what...twice as weak as normal armour or something?

Plus, like he said, he had lots of level 8 weapons, you didnt have level 8 fighters (and you cant get them).

Your still not getting the point...You hadnt moded ANYTHING, and he had moded everything he could (torps..armour..beams..cannons), he was going to be doing a lot more damage at range because your Assault Disruptors arnt in range.

Stations ARNT meant to last their own out there, they are support ships, that need other ships to help them (because they cant move worth a damn).

I can almost hear alarm bells ringing...

"Dude! Your ship's too uber"
"No, it's cause my weaps are leveled up"
"No they weren't, but mine were."
"M8, it's u're ship thats uber not mine"
...

My point being, that getting the underlying balance right with the levelling system in place will be FAR more difficult than it currently is, it's such a huge fudge factor. If it's not perfectly balanced on this release, there'll be constant squabbles over balance in the future.
