have any of you actualy setup darkspace beta properly...the connections box is best set to your actualy net-speed, not auto-detect (auto-detect puts my bps 20k lower than what it should be). Try that.

I have to admit that I had not setup beta. never acured to me. So, now I have and will post the results soon as I have had a good test.

Thats the only idea I have left....either that or...do you have a software modem? If so, that might be causing problems...

A couple of things are in a different order and your vid card is a bit better than my old GF4 440 but I have the settings truned down to half your highs. Nothing odd though. I have lag spikes with all my games just nothing like what I get here on DS. I know my ISP sucks but not enough to explain this. Americas Army usualy has many more people 40 to 60 in a game and nothing in the way of lag. Asherons Call is smothe as a babies butt. they have some kinda of client side intelligent lag over ride that helps make things look clean even if there is some lag at heavy transfer times. Anyway....I EAGERLY await F's lag control plan.
