erm, just one question...
i dont suppose extending the time limit would of helped any?
but yeah, RIP FA server. Had a lot of fun there, brutally hunting down UGTO dreads with a Siphon, doing crazy things like have 20 supply ships follow a station around, Coombie always crashing the server with his minelayer Hive...
good times, good times.

time limit cant be extended (correct me if im wrong tael). Each map is on a set timelimit. Would result in an update...which, I know I couldnt be bothered to do....

Player maps can set their timelimits to what ever they want.
So im sure Official maps have the same option.
Setting it to say 24 hours would solve everything.
Also, people want FA around because they know how much ass it kicked before it got shot in the head.
MV = suck. FA = (was) win.

I think they've made it pretty clear that it is NOT an option, what part of that don't you people get? Read the previous posts before posting.

Answer to what? The answer to "what part of that don't you get?" is "we had more players back then" ?????

Official servers run as processes and the scenarios they run are hard coded into the code in a set sequence and time. We have no way of "tweaking" them. Thats what we keep trying to explain. Player servers run individual servers that run imported or edited maps, but dont have access to the Zone Backend processes for running over multiple systems like the master servers do.
FA/GA is gone, for the past several days there has rarely been more than 3 people on it. We've decided instead to use that resource to host the Fleetwars Event server as some people complained of issues with the privately operated one in Europe.
