Thank you. And very kind of you, Steam. If anyone has any more helpful suggestions, feel free to express them.

I edited my earlier post a bit more, let me know if you are going to do any of that stuff, if (and how) its working, and if maybe you want to setup a time for chat. Unless of course mission 2 matters not, then nevermind.

My Intel Vid card is not supported by Homeworld 2 that possibly could be the problem.

Er, that isn't the problem. A specific function call, script event, texture or display process OF your Intel video chip while playing Homeworld 2, Mission 2 could be the problem though. =op
My level of expertise tops out right around this point though, so it's just speculation. Let me me know if you are going to try any of that and what happens, or if you are just going to move on.

Your card probably doesnt support a feature of the game and so wont run it like is said. There is no way to fix this as all cards are loaded with directx, opengl and other rendering engines. If it doesnt contain a certain bit, it wont work. Some cards work by not displaying a texture, ie showing up as white or black, some cards refuse to run atall.
The only way to fix this is to buy another graphics card.
