Ah, nothing like infusing more pessimism into a community you once treasured just so others can feel just like you. You're so influential, |2eason. I don't think anyone questioned their own motives just because you left.
Jeez man... chill out... DarkSpace will live if it lives, and it will die if it dies. In the meantime, let these poor people play their game and have their community as they bloody well see fit.

|2eason is another in a long line of people who have been leaving the game. Him, Gideon, and too many others to name have left or disappeared one by one, and the remainder of the 'old' people are in general, further demoralized by the continued egress of their old friends. New faces come in, some with the potential to become as great (for lack of a better term) as some of the players of old, but the remaining vets are coldhearted and impatient with the newbies, and frustrated with the game itself.
In general, old players just don't see the game as fun any more. Granted, many of them became bored of 1480 because it was there so long, but there was, of course, that legendary DarkSpace community still there, still intact to help some of them stick around, or at least check in and chat once in a while.
Now, a lot of that does indeed seem to have evaporated. But I don't think all hope is lost just yet.
