Every time SmartUpdate trys to run it wants me to reboot , then reboot , then reboot .
If I just keep saying no and loading DS it works sooner or later, but Rebooting doesen't do a thing.
Its WG--.dll file its trying to update , sorry didn't right it down

Its the msvcrt.dll
It tries to update at different times too when I try loading game, entering Lobby, loading Mission, or after I shut down game

I've done an Uninsal 3 times including Cleaning up Regestry
No luck
Norton System Works 2005 says theres nothing wrong with my computer

Got real excited when I saw that file Backslsh but still no luck.
was a good Idea though thanks
I'm really stuck haven't had this much trouble fixing a game yet.
at least it still works if I keep loading, and loading, and loading it, untill patcher desides not to run.
I can Patch from Lobby screen without it asking me to Reboot.
is there a way to disable automatic patching??
Mabey some of this will help

disabling updates-
locate config.ini in your darkspace folder
change doupdate=1 to doupdate=0 (theres 2 of them, one for the client and one for the lobby), save and close
right click on config.ini > properties > click Read-Only box
note that you wont be able to change things like emotes, log in info/auto log in, lobby skin colors, basically anything under view->options

Nice idea, Doran. You could change said things you can't change manually in that same file, though.

Thanks Doran that one got it.
and I can still patch from Lobby.
Now it puts me back into Lobby after Logging out.
Which I thought was really Dum having to restart game everytime you leave a Server.
