OMG what did Meko just say?? ... im not saying that Floyd sucks. i just think Linkin Park is much more talented.
And im dissapointed in you Coeus. i woulda figured you of all people would respect his opinion in thinkin that they are better.... and just take it out on him in the MV. Unless your prowess in a Combat Dreadnaught isnt good enough to mach up with his Mandable?

Meko, I'm all about having your own opinion, but some things just don't work. Things like "The nazi's weren't so bad" and "We're not in iraq for the oil". Floyd ranks up there for me, because without him there probably be no bands like linkin park, they wouldn't be able to cross over from a melodic electronic influenced rock they way they are able to.
This isn't even mentioning that they make their music just to pander to the masses, whereas floyd made some of the most memorable and influential music to date just because they wanted to, not for money or for fame - but to say something and because they enjoyed doing it.

Ok, really, is Linkin Park really even a band? Can they even be considered memorable? Once they fade away next month, will they have staying power other than that dreaded role carved out by Vanilla Ice (the "Did we really like this crap back then?" songs)? Linkin Park is a niche band, one of commercialism that tries to sell as many albums as they can. For God's sake, they have two lead singers because neither one is talented enough to do the job alone.
Anyways, back to the subject at hand, awards; we at Event Staff are working on it. Your ideas are being looked at, and some may even be shamelessly stolen and put into production with no credit to the author. Also, feel free keep more [good] ideas coming, as those may be stolen with no record of doing so. Expect a rollout of a first line of awards in 2 weeks.
