if not then oh well,
however it would be possible if i could talk with some of the devs it might be possible to get darskapce to work on linux without re-coding it...

Most platform dependant functionality was already moved over to a "core" library, to make it less work to port it over to another platform. This doesn't involve the gfx code yet. So, the server is probably the first thing which'll run under linux some day
