In Beta I would like to see a filter put in. Heres a run down.

I'm in R33. I can see planets in other systems...why? I don't know why I can, I only assume its because I'm in close proximity to the other system and I guess its thought this is pertanent information I should know. I want to be able to exclude all objects not in the current system I am in. This could be a filter or something I could choose to stop the Navigation screen from seeing them.

Now I can also see server messages and chat from all over. I asked Gideon and he said he thought a filter would be a good idea to exclude everything but local system chat(except fleet, braodcasts, etc.). As I don't want to know that has been capped by . Again this could be a filter button that each client could turn on/off.

I like the new chat system don't get me wrong but I think that faction chat should only be used in emergencies like "*kenetiks:FACTION: hey guys kluth just invaded lalande", and everything else needs to be local system only. I don't think it will go this way so a filter I think is a good alternative.

Thanks,
kenetiks

Along the same lines: We need a note of which system each planet is in.

Example:
Remembrance(R33-8710) is under attack
or
Earth(Sol) has been captured by UGTO:GTN
