oh and arch the damage is about right on those ruptors but the range is to high. You can clearly see they go past the front of the dread lower it to about 15 gu and we are in business

There will be a rework of cloak included in 1.482... and I'm guessing you'll like it better, judging by your comments here...

here's what it should be:

1: Can't fire when cloaked.
2: Realy good cloak.
3: REALLY low hull values (plus fix to the uterlly useless; lower hull = Faster jump drive recharge rate)
4: Very eficient supply ships/auto repair

in the meantime, whille we wait "1-3months" after 1.481's release for 1.482 to be released, we can use a broke cloak system that is completely useless, and weaps that will use up 70% of our energy in one Alpha, but at the same time dont do ANY damage, yeah we will be Pinch and Run, hit is too strong a word to put in there...

I mean really, if your going to start balancing ships and their devices out in this patch, do it all, dont Bandaid fix ONE problem b/c its the most cried about, your stripping down one faction to a point of where they wont be able to do anything...we cant Cloak/Hide with the current/BETA system, Disruptors do crap for dmg and eat up too much energy and reload too slow for what they are worth, kluth wont be able to bomb planets since we can use mIRVs anymore and can only use BIO Bombs, which wont dmg buildings anymore...and u guys wanna get made when people call it a Nerf? look at what your doing...or how about just playing the game for a Month and seeing how your Numbers match up to what really goes on in the game?

not really Darksworde, its a fair trade-off...you will have people leaving/unsubbing b/c of the screw-over in the patch to their faction, but at the same time u will have people coming back (at least thats whats thought)...anyway, all this talking/posting doesnt do any good unless your certain people, yeah...

That romulan thing game me an idea..... What if you cloudnt fire any weapons while cloaked but when cloaked it is very hard to get sig to rise...this would make the hit and runs tatics good while keeping a very good ability on cloaking.

I agree with changes that return the K'luth to the hit and run faction they once were... That was FUN! (And yes, I spent some quality time as K'luth in the MV in an earlier era)

I think Kluth can still get fusion torps, but yeah say goodbye to cl2k.

Now as far as being able to BUILD fusion torps in a factory, I don't know. I know we can't build reactors, mirvs, ecm/eccm etc. but they may just be disabled in factories right now.

I like the idea of Klingon style Kluth cloaks, meaning undetectable while cloaked, but can only fire when uncloaked.

Actually klingons / romulans are detect able, just extremely hard to detect ... definitely not with basic weak sensors ...
