I would like to see the inclusion of Black Ops infantry that would be covertly deployed on a planet from a specialized Stealth Ship.The Stealth Ship is small and specially made to reduce its sig and it also carrys a special version of ECM that makes its sig -10.0 in addition to the special hull.However this version of the ECM can only be used on the prowler.

The Black Ops troopers can perform a number of tasks which is listed below.

Poison Food Supply:Sneaks into hydro farms and poisons the food that is being produced there.large number of people killed by poison and many more don't eat and starve to death.

Sabotage Power Plant:Self Explanatory.

Deploy Nuke:Team deploys a 30 megaton Tactical Nuke at the target and escapes before it detonates.Note:There is a High Chance of failure when this is attempted if your men are captured they will be killed.

Redirect Enemy Ground forces:Causes confusion in enemy units and causes them to head to the wrong destination.

Terminate Commander:A sniper is sent out to kill enemy commander in his own HQ and/or the Black Ops team will assualt the Base and will most likely capture some intel documents.

Sabotage Def Bases:Team infiltrates Def Bases and changes its IFF system so that it attacks its own allies.Note:This will not work on Fighter Bases as the aircraft are manned and unless the pilots are mentally retarded they won't engage their allies.

Assist Ground Forces:Team hot drops into the battle field and causes heavy enemy casaulties.
Cause Uprising:If the population morale is low you can attempt to cause a uprising and bring the planet to your cause.The Black Ops team recruits men from the local population and then attempts a revolution after launch some hit and run attacks on the enemy infantry.
Some assistance from friendly ships may be needed if enemy reinforces planet.This may fail if the enemy puts down the uprising but they fighting everyone on the planet .
Hunter Killer Teams:6 Man Hunter Killer Team sent out on patrol to ambush enemy.

Ummm this is a good idea, but it must be used only by and only on ICC and UTGO cotroled planets(the reason is that I dont see how a k'luth Black ops can fool humans, or a human black ops can fool k'luth planets.

Also Stealth ships would have NO weapons on his own(can be abused) and cannot use flux/pulse waves(for the same reason). The steath ships would not have Ion Trails(they would mask them) or they can kiss there steath goodbye.

Finaly Scanners would be able to see those stealth ships(the special ecm would only mask the sig not negate it and eccm would have no effect on its sig) Also another steath ship could do counter espionnage mission to cancel the Black Ops missions.


Well i hope that would balance it out.

this would be cool but whyadd a new ship? that part seems useless -- also i believe the clack ops inf should be vetrens nothing more; nothing less;
