I was recently struck by another iota of brilliance!!!!
It kinda hurt at the time, but after a few migraleve....
What if fleets could issue bounties on other players!!!! Imagine! Ragglerock would have like a 20K cred bounty on his head!!
The bounty would be automatically diverted from clan funds to whoever fulfilled the bounty...
Note: I think that planets generate cash for fleets, to buy ships, but I've never been sure. If so, this cash is untouchable by the people within the fleet, but it IS there...
Anyway, Bounties would only be applicable to members of fleets or factions not aligned with the fleet putting out the bounty...
Unless the [Dev] team decides that Elfstar needs to be slapped

lol he's after u now  kool idea, but what is to stop us from putting bounties on somebodies head now? what about the poor newbs (what about YOU!) what about the price of tea in China? What about killer space sheep? Never thought about that did u?

the thing is though what is the point in bountys?
all u do is kill em and they respawn but else nothing happenc
