This idea popped into my head while i was reading one of the halo book.
Can our ships have Artificial Inteligences, Don't know why im suggesting this but i thought it might be neat to have them.

I like it.

But 2 Major problems..

1, Exploiting the AI system

2, Lag, like when your orbiting the planet...







On a Side note, I wonder what the MV would be like if it was Decreased instead of increased.. if it was the same area but fewer systems so Darkspace can still be dark but just not as lonely :'(

We already have an AI. It is very basic. In other words "stupid". But in great numbers, they can still be a pain, no matter how dumb they are.

yeah but Spartan's refering to a onboard AI like in halo.. but im not sure what he wants it to do for us here in DS..

Go play Eve...

One of darksace bests points is that you actually play the game yourself.
If you want your Comp to fly, fight, dock, etc for you then Eve is the game you are looking for.

AI's should be removed from the game completely.

I was discussing this matter with gideon yesterday and i eventually got wittled down to AIs just giving warnings and simple stuff like that.
