I think they should be there as an additional stat and since forum and game database seem to be linked anyway in some way (forum knows your rank and fleet), I think this could be added fairly easy

We used to have that.
It lead to a certain individual spamming the forums with useless messages, in order to raise their post count, and was an important factor in the removal of the responsibilities they had been given within the DS community.
It was decided that the creation of useless spam in the forums is not in the best interests of DS or it's community. Therefore, the stat in the profiles was removed.
