game crashing+burning bug... maybe its me maybe not |

HELLLP...i'll be playing, everything going fine, then ill just freeze. no lag, no slowness, ill be in the middle of a finely planned jump and i'll freeze. no loading, just freezing. a total, abrupt stop. nothing happens. i was watching someone start a jump one day and........... =. i don't see any reason for it to freeze, but usually it happens A:) after i accelerate, or B:) when someone near me accelerates, or C:) when someone shoots at me... maybe that last one isn't so bad tho, they never have time to kill me...

Lag spikes have become increasingly common lately, and it sounds like it may be the cause of the trouble you are experiencing.

but it didnt lag! 
nothing happened. game is running smoothly one second, then it just stops. like i took a snapshot and put it on the screen. sound stops, and everything just stops moving. wouldnt it have lowed down slightly if it was a lag spike?

Same thing is happening to me. Whenever someone fires anything at me, the client hangs. now i can't even log onto gcq when i reinstalled the game into another drive. it doesn't even update the game. all it says is "an error has occured on the server. please try again later"

well, this might be a bit past freezing... lets give it a new name, say..... "Stasis"...
if it freezes, the computer would keep computing, while nothing happens. in this case, the computer just stops. everything. sound, video, and even the soft humming noise.............
