Currently infantry units fight to the death.
I was thinking we should add morale to the mix.Say a green infantry is getting jumped by say 4 other infs its morale would diminish greatly and it may surrender.Greens would be easiest to suffer morale failure but Elite units would never have that problem as they are fanatical and never surrender.Vets a little harder to suffer morale failure and Hardened will usually fight to the death.What do u think?

i think it's just a waste of coding/time

it won't affect anything. we don't need stuff for ground base. just let the little diamonds duke it out, and focus on space combats

We have a morale model in the works for planets.

It would certainly be interesting to extend this particular project to include some sort of morale system for troops.

Particularly since activities on planets greatly affect what happens on the space side of the game, and vice versa.

What about something like high morale on the planet= some kind of boost in time between the transfer from green inf to vet and so on... low morale= more time between.... just a suggestion

if an inf gets jumped by 4 others it is dead anyways.. guess you could call it morale
