is this for "official" DS events? or can people use this for any sort of event they are holding?

Read the appropriate post pls. It is an OFFICIAL forum and only allowed to use when you are gonna compete in the OFFICIAL DarkSpace Community Events.
So no, pls only use this forum for the events that are gonna be held.

Well they do have the General and Soap Box forums for you to post your events in, its not really "discriminating", this is just thier forum for thier events. Now if the admins came to your house and beat you with clubs if you tried to hold an event yeah I can see how that would be discriminating...

yeah, and with the amount of posting that goes through there, it's very easy for things to get overlooked, but hey, oh well, let them have their fun

Kaolin, if you ahve suggestions for events post thel in the appropriate forum which is the suggestion forum. If you have complaints go to the feedback forum. Tha fact this forum is called DarkSpace Events means they are official DarkSpace Events. If your diea Rocks it might become an event as well. And if there come official GAME events then Community and Game Events will probably share this forum. But right now there arn't such events...

I have to say I agree with Hussaro. This is really the only way the Events won't turn into a farce and become to confusing for everyone to compete in.
