One other thing I've noticed in beta is that with the delay between infantry selection and load time, you can "load" far more infantry than you can actually carry, then once you're full, the extra inf fly up to your ship and dissappear.

it's a simple matter to just not load more than you can carry... but I forsee some problems with newbies/exploiters if it's left the way it is.
