Couldn't be easier...it's mostly a 2D world out there anyway...here is the set-up:

4 Screens The Upper Center is your forward Viewing arc, say about 120 degrees of view. The two flanking the center are your side views, each about 45 degrees of viewable arc. The fourth screen stretches across the entire bottom 1/4 of the screen and represents the rear 150 degrees.

All the HUD and other buttons would be found between the top three screens and between the forward/side views and the rear.

Since the forward viewing arc, broken between the three screens is 210, you would have to make it kinda curved looking...no problem.

Now, you could just have Keys you could jab at to switch between front, rear and side views, but I honestly think crashing into Naix because I'm staring at my Ion trail is a bad idea.

Might be a lot of information to process at once, but a cool option.

With this view, you could have two additional options:

1) Window to the glass view: Just what is infront, rear, next to your ship.

2) Standing on the bridge view: The top half of your Assault Dread stretches out before you, slightly obscuring the view of what is below you (which there isn't), but gives you a better perspective of the size of your ship vs others, and of distance travelled.

I'm excited...I will post an image of kinda what I mean (At work, so it will have to wait a few hours)

Hehe it might be cool but probably not very useful to gameplay.
